Tamara Dawn is the broker and owner of Tamara Dawn Real
Estate and has been licensed to sell Real Estate in California for over 38
years. Through her extensive education, Tamara has earned the designations of Accredited
Buyer Representative (ABR),Accredited Consultant in Real
Estate (ACRE™), Accredited Staging Professional ( ASP), Accredited
Seller Representative (ASR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior
Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Graduate of the REALTOR’S® Institute (GRI), and
is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR).
Tamara has an excellent record of accomplishments that
includes over 1,000 successfully closed escrows on behalf of her happy clients.
In addition to her commitment to and advocacy of her clients’ needs, Tamara has
been able to add her own experiences of having been a purchaser and seller of eleven
personal residences in various real estate markets since 1962. Tamara has a
strong commitment to furthering her education in various fields of real estate
in order to better serve her clients and provide them with the utmost in
service, marketing skills and useful technology
Tamara is also very active in the greater Sacramento
community. She is involved with the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® and
served as president of the Sacramento Chapter of the Women’s Council of
REALTORS®. Tamara is also an advocate of Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention both
in her local community and at the national and international level as the
result of the loss of her granddaughter who died after being shaken by a
babysitter. Tamara has been featured in the local news, radio shows, and
newspapers due to the preventative work she has been doing and has participated
and spoken at various conferences on the topic including the first National Conference
on Shaken Baby Syndrome in 1996.
Tamara is a widowed mother of four sons: James, John, Joseph
and Jeffrey and a grandmother of seven. When not working she is campaigning
hard for Shaken Baby Syndrome awareness.
